You already know that surviving childhood cancer isn't cheap - so how does one manage to save for college on top of everything else? The financial challenges around a childhood cancer can be completely overwhelming, and saving for anything can feel impossible at times. Fortunately for college-bound teens, there are a number of college scholarships available for childhood cancer patients and survivors across the nation. Fortunately for you, the organization behind one of these wonderful scholarships will be joining us at our Family Resource Fair, just in time for their 2017 application deadline!
Expect Miracles Foundation rallies the financial services industry to invest in life-saving cancer research and advance patient care programs nationwide. One of the patient care programs they provide is the Expect Miracles Foundation College Scholarship, awarded each year to a young adult cancer survivor who would find attending college to be a significant financial burden due to their history/current diagnosis with cancer.
Our first-ever Family Resource Fair is approaching, and so is the application deadline for the 2017 Expect Miracles Foundation Scholarship! Join us on April 1 to meet representatives from Expect Miracles Foundation in time for the 2017 application deadline on April 9. Be sure to share this information with any college-bound cancer survivors who may want to apply this year or next - an opportunity for face-time can go a long way in helping you prepare a winning application!
