Special Event Coordinator

SCOPE OF JOB DUTIES

Our Special Events Committee is seeking an individual interested in volunteering to help plan, organize, and execute fundraising events throughout the year. You will work as part of a team, supported by our Special Events Director, to take on responsibilities contributing to our annual 5K and/or annual cocktail party. Responsibilities may include tasks like contacting vendors for the event, collecting silent auction items, organizing event logistics, or helping to promote the event to reach more interested attendees. Prior experience planning fundraisers is preferred but not required. Most work can be done remotely around your own schedule; volunteers who can attend the fundraisers in person are preferred but not required

REQUIREMENTS & COMMITMENT

Must be at least 18 years old. Hours are very flexible, with an average of 4 hours per week, and can be done remotely, other than the event itself. Volunteers based in Massachusetts are preferred.
