Get ready for a morning packed with trails, teamwork, and a little bit of mystery.

On May 2nd, your friends at Camp Casco are heading into the woods at Rocky Woods Reservation, and we want you there! Here’s what we’ve got in store:

🗺️ Scavenger Hunt (ages 10 and under) Grab your handout and start the hunt! Look closely to find each item on the list and mark them off as you go - BINGO-style. How many can you find before our hike is done? Ready… set… GO!

🧭 Geocaching Adventure (ages 10 and up) Armed with coordinates and your best detective brain, you'll hunt for real hidden caches tucked throughout the woods. Can you find them all?

🌳 The whole Camp Casco crew: your friends from camp, new faces to meet, and a trail full of room to run.

If you're registered for Camp Casco's Trail Blazers hiking challenge, this hike counts - and it's so much more fun with the whole crew.

Come complete your miles alongside the kids and families you're hiking for. There's no better way to kick off your Trail Blazers journey.

Explore scenic paths through Rocky Woods - one of the best hiking areas in MetroWest. Whether you're chasing clues or chasing coordinates, you'll have the whole forest as your playground.
👯 See Your People

Your camp friends will be here. So will kids who just get what your family has been through. It's a morning to hang out, explore together, and just have fun.
🥯 Fuel Up

We've got you covered with morning snacks: coffee, muffins, and fruit. Hike first, snack after. (Or snack during. We won't judge.)

FAQs

This event is free for New England families affected by childhood cancer: patients, survivors, and siblings ages 0–17 are all welcome.
New to Camp Casco? We'll ask for a physician contact to verify your family's experience with childhood cancer before your space is confirmed.
Returning families are all set - you're already in!
Registered Trail Blazers are also invited to join.
It wouldn’t be a camp party without snacks! Light refreshments (coffee, fruit, muffins, and bagels) will be provided.
We don't currently require onsite rapid testing or masking. We'll update all registered families promptly if anything changes.
Please stay home if you're feeling unwell or have had a recent exposure to any communicable illness.
Comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, bug spray, and your sense of adventure (that one's required).
