Each day is thoughtfully planned to include a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage connection, confidence, and plenty of smiles. From rock wall climbs and archery to team games, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
A Day In The Life At Oncology Camp
8:30 AM – Breakfast to Kick Off the Day
Campers wake up to a delicious breakfast and the start of another unforgettable day together. There’s nothing like fueling up with friends before the fun begins. (If your child is signed up for Sleep at Home, they will arrive at camp at 9:00AM)
9:30 AM – Team Building Challenge
We dive right into a group activity that gets everyone working together. It’s all about connection, collaboration, and lots of encouragement.
10:30 AM – Rock Wall Adventure
Time to reach new heights! With cheering friends below, campers tackle the rock wall at their own pace—every climb is a celebration of courage.
11:30 AM – Archery Fun
Campers take aim and build confidence at the archery range. Whether it’s a bullseye or just hitting the target, it’s all part of the thrill.
12:00 PM – Lights-Out Lunch
This isn’t your ordinary lunch!! It’s our silly and beloved “lights out” tradition! It might be dark, but the laughter (and lunch) are absolutely bright.
1:00 PM – Siesta
A little mid-day pause gives campers time to rest, read, or recharge. It’s the perfect way to restore energy before the afternoon adventures.
2:00 PM – Slip & Slide Time!
We bring the splash with one of camp’s most fun traditions! It’s high-energy, joy-filled, and an absolute blast.
3:00 PM – Let’s Head To The Beach!
Cool off in the water and soak up the sunshine. Whether campers are swimming in water, building sand castles, or chatting in the shade, everyone is enjoying their time together.
5:00 PM – Back to Cabins
We dry off, change, and get cozy as we wind down from our water-filled afternoon and gear up for a special evening ahead. (If your child is signed up for Sleep at Home, they will be picked up around 5PM, prior to dinner)
6:00 PM – Dinner Together
Gather around the table for a warm, hearty dinner. It’s a time to relax, refuel, and reflect on the best moments of the day.
7:00 PM – Talent Show Time!
Get ready to cheer! Campers light up the stage with singing, dancing, jokes, and more. Everyone is a star, and the applause is endless. (Sleep at Home Campers have the option to stay at Oncology Camp for the Talent Show on the final day and be picked up at 8:30PM).
8:00 PM – Campfire & S’mores
The evening slows down with glowing embers, heartfelt songs, and sweet s’mores. It’s a moment of connection we’ll carry with us long after camp ends.
9:00 PM – Bedtime Routine
Campers head back to their bunks to brush teeth, change into pajamas, and share final giggles with cabin mates before settling in.
10:00 PM – Lights Out
Time for rest after a full, joy-filled day. Sweet dreams under the stars await.
