FAQ

  • The fundraising requirement is $12,000 raised by April 19, 2026.

Each team member is required to meet the following fundraising milestones:

    • January 1: $4,000

    • February 1: $6,000

    • March 1: $8,000

    • April 1: $10,000

    • April 19: $12,000

Runners will be required to meet their $4,000 milestone by January 1 In order to register for the race.

  • Yes. If selected to the team, all runners will be required to pay a $375 registration fee to the B.A.A. (subject to change per the B.A.A.) by their set deadline.

This payment is separate from your fundraising and does not count towards the fundraising commitment, nor is it tax-deductible. Team Camp Casco does not cover this fee.

Runners will also be responsible for providing their own lodging and transportation to and from the race.

  • Spaces will be filled on a rolling basis.

We will ask for information about you, your motivation for running for Camp Casco, your preparedness to run the marathon successfully, and how you plan to raise funds to support our mission.

This is a huge challenge, and we are looking for runners who are deeply committed to investing plenty of time, energy, and thought into ensuring their fundraising and running success.

Strong applicants will be invited to a phone call with our team for further consideration.

Applications will close once spaces are filled, and all applicants will be notified of their status.

  • Each application is reviewed individually. We prioritize runners who demonstrate:

    • A strong connection to Camp Casco’s mission

    • A clear, realistic fundraising plan

    • Commitment to representing our cause with passion

While higher fundraising commitments are weighed more heavily, applicants should only pledge an amount they are confident they can achieve— once accepted, you are expected to raise the full commitment you set.

We will also create a waitlist. If a runner withdraws before the cancellation deadline, a waitlisted applicant will be invited to join. Waitlisted runners are encouraged to begin training in November to stay aligned with the team’s schedule and be ready to step in.

  • If a team member withdraws from the team by the January cancellation deadline, a waitlisted runner will be invited to join the team.

If you are waitlisted, we encourage you to start training in December to stay on pace with the training schedule.

    • September 29: Applications open
