Water, food for purchase, and bathrooms are available at the top of Mount Washington. We recommend bringing cash in case you would like to purchase food.

Lodging is available onsite for all Seekers who go above and beyond in their fundraising efforts.

• Summit Seekers who raise $1,500 or more will have the opportunity to stay at Joe Dodge Lodge on Friday, May 30

• Summit Seekers who raise $2,000 or more will have the opportunity to stay at Joe Dodge Lodge on Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31

You will be able to indicate your interest in earning onsite lodging in your application. At least 50% of fundraising commitment must be met by March 28, 2024 in order to secure lodging.

If you do not meet your fundraising minimum, you may be responsible for booking your own lodging nearby.

Camp Casco will provide the following meals and snacks:

• Dinner on Friday, May 30 (for Seekers staying onsite 5/30 at JDL)

• Breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday, May 31

• Breakfast on Sunday, June 1 (for Seekers staying onsite 5/31 at JDL)

Please notify us as soon as possible if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies not already noted on your Camp Champion application/acceptance forms, so that we can communicate these to the lodge’s kitchen.

We reserve lodging at Joe Dodge Lodge for all Summit Seekers who meet their fundraising requirements, described above.

Joe Dodge Lodge rooms sleep ~4 people — most contain two twin-sized bunk beds. We reserve a block of rooms for our hikers, so you will only share a room with other hikers in our hike group. We aim to sleep about 3 same-gendered participants in each room.

Rooms at JDL do not have private bathrooms, but each floor has separate men’s and women’s bathrooms, each with multiple toilet and shower stalls.

Joe Dodge Lodge provides towels, linens, pillows, and soap for you to use during your stay.

Bad weather is a natural risk of any hike program, especially when you’re exploring the Whites. In general, we will attempt to complete the hike if our Team Captains agree it can be done safely. This may mean hiking in rainy, icy, very cold, or hot conditions, and hikers should be prepared for any type of weather during this weekend.

Hikes will not take place if our Team Captains agree weather conditions are too unsafe to proceed. This may mean that we miss one or both days of the hike. Whenever possible, we will identify alternative nearby hikes that can be completed safely instead.
