Day Camp Check-In & Check-Out

We know that the first day of camp can be both exciting and nerve-racking. To help prepare you and your camper, this post will go over what to expect on the first day of camp.

But First, A Few Reminders…

  • Camp dates: July 3-7th at Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA

  • Drop-off 9:45AM each day and pick-up at 4:45PM each day

  • *Dana Hall School is closed July 4th, and we will be hosting a Family Fun Day from 11-2 at Hale Reservation. Please RSVP here if you have not yet done so.

  • Please be sure to update your child's Health History form with any medications they will be bringing to camp. This form can be accessed through the Parent Portal. Check-in will go much faster if you update this ahead of time.

  • We will be providing rapid antigen tests each day upon arrival, so be sure to allow enough time to wait for the results. We ask that each child remains in the vehicle until the tests results have come back

What to expect at Day 1 drop-off:

  • Please see the map below for the best place to park when dropping off and picking up. You will enter the campus from Grove St. Best parking is between the Shipley Center and Equestrian Center.

  • Please do not get out of your vehicle when you arrive!

  • A Camp Casco volunteer will greet you at your car and provide you with a rapid antigen test.

  • A Camp Casco medical volunteer will meet you at your vehicle while we await the covid test results, and will go over your child's health records. We will confirm any medications your child is bringing, allergies, dietary restrictions, and general care notes.

  • Once they have been checked in by a Medical Volunteer, and their covid test comes back negative, a Camp Casco counselor will bring them over to the field area where the camp fun will begin!
